Product description
Sten Shoonmaken Duoprotect impregnation creates an active protection that prevents soiling and at the same time improves the air quality. This is made possible by the innovative photocatalysis formula. The impregnation uses the power of the sun to break down harmful nitrogen oxide molecules (NOx) and decompose organic material such as green deposits. The agent forms a chemical bond with the substrate and becomes part of the substrate. There is no abrasion of the impregnation and the effect lasts up to 12 years.

Application

Thoroughly clean the surface to be treated beforehand and allow to dry completely.

Apply the undiluted product to the surface with a spray bottle/sprayer or alternatively with a cotton strip or roller. Connecting surfaces do not need to be covered. Make a small test area to check whether the product is absorbed by the substrate. If the substrate is not porous, the product will remain on the surface and unsightly white spots will appear.

When applying the product, ensure that it is evenly distributed to avoid puddles and a sticky effect.

During the drying time of 4 to 8 hours, the surface must not be wet and must not be walked on.

Can this product be used on marble?
Sten Shoonmaken Duoprotect impregnation should only be used on open-pored and absorbent mineral substrates.
Can pets enter the area shortly after treatment?
Pets should be kept away from the treated area during treatment with Sten Shoonmaken Duoprotect impregnation. As soon as the area is completely dry, pets can enter it again.
How much area can be impregnated with it?
An area of approx. 40-50 m² is protected with 5 liters of the Sten Shoonmaken Duoprotect impregnation.
Is the product harmful to plants?
The Sten Shoonmaken Duoprotect impregnation is water-based and is not dangerous for plants or lawns.
