Product description
Effective agent for protecting wood from rotting, waterlogging and swelling. The impregnation repels liquids and drastically reduces contamination and green deposits. The drying times after rain are drastically reduced and the breeding ground for algae, moss and green growth is removed.

Application

First remove loose dirt from the wood with water/cleaner and allow to dry completely.

Apply the product undiluted with a brush or roller until saturated. Connection surfaces do not need to be covered.

Make sure it is evenly distributed to avoid staining.

Protect the treated wood from water during and until it has completely dried for approx. 4 hours. The impregnation is then dried and can be used. The beading effect occurs shortly afterwards.

Can this product be used on softwood?
The Sten Shoonmaken wood conservation can be used on all types of wood. The wood should not be varnished, otherwise the agent cannot penetrate the wood structure.
How long does the product protect before further treatment is required?
If the wood is treated with Sten Shoonmaken wood impregnation, it will protect for several years. The beading effect can degrade more quickly due to natural stress, while the impregnation continues to completely protect the wood from the penetration of water and dirt. To renew the water-repellent effect, the impregnation can be applied every 2 years.
How much area can this protect?
Depending on the type of wood, between 10 and 15 m² can be protected with one liter.
Is the product harmful to plants?
Sten Shoonmaken Wood impregnation is water-based and therefore not dangerous for plants or lawns.
