Product description
High-quality and unpigmented wood oil for long-term protection against UV, graying, drying, cracking and weathering. The agent intensifies the wood structure, regulates the moisture in the wood and preserves the attractive appearance of the material. For use as an initial coating for all new and untreated wood or as protection after restoration.

Application

First remove loose dirt from the wood with water/cleaner and allow to dry completely.

Apply the product undiluted with a brush or roller until saturated. Pay attention to even distribution to avoid staining.

After a drying time of approx. 6 to 8 hours, apply a second coat until saturation.

Protect the treated wood from water and rain during and until it has completely dried for another 6 hours.

Can this product be used on softwood?
The Sten Shoonmaken Wood conservation natural can be used on all types of wood except thermowood. The wood should not be varnished, otherwise the agent cannot penetrate the wood structure.
How long does the product protect against new graying?
If the wood is treated with Sten Shoonmaken Wood conservation natural, it is sufficient to refresh it every 2 - 3 years. If surfaces are subject to particularly high levels of wear and tear, the wood can also be treated beforehand.
How much area can this protect?
Depending on the type of wood, one liter can protect an area of between 7 and 10 m².
Is the product harmful to plants?
Sten Shoonmaken Wood conservation natural is based on water and is therefore not dangerous for plants or lawns.
